Leeds-based label A Giant Fern drop a 6-track release from Zarabatana. The Portuguese trio follow up their debut 2015 EP “Fogo na Carne” with “O Terceiro Corno” offering another taste of their unique brand of ritualistic free jazz. Continuing to delve deeper with their exploration into experimental jazz, the trio’s combination of free-roaming flugelhorn, double-bass, accompanied by melodic percussion and chants is one to remember.
