What we love about French-Chilean artist Medline, is his deft ability to fuse old music with new adding a touch of tech to create timeless pieces of music. That’s exactly the case with his new cover project called Undercover which sees him pick from mythic and impossible to find records. Digging deep in the crates Medline drops an extremely rare Italian library track from Luciano Simoncini.
The track originally featured on Simoncini’s rare 1970 album Accadde A……. and become more widely known through Madlib’s sample of “Accade a Harlem” for the “Suono libero” series on 70’s Jazz funk from Italian library music.
“The original illustration will be also reproduced by Medline. It will be completed more and more, cover after cover, without any scheduling plan. We will decide to release it in another format than digital. But for now, digital is cool for this concept. Price is free, so please add your support, little is good, more is excellent, nothing is nothing but we ask your email as counterpart to spam you with our label’s newsletter! ” My Bags
