With so much good music coming through thick and fast, it’s easy for new music to drop online and go unnoticed. To help prevent this, we’ve picked five releases that may have slipped past your radar. Listening to Astral Palms some may hear the influence from such great artists as Floating Points and Local Talk very own Crackazat. What Marcel is doing is fusing the two and adding his twist with enough originality to stand out from the rest.

brandon is a gifted composer, producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist whose musical style is an eclectic blend of electronic, hip-hop, house, soul and jazz. His smooth, amorous sounds focus on capturing the listener’s imagination, and captivating the heart through enchanting music.





TATRAN – No Sides

Continuing upon their unique musical journey, the innovative instrumental trio TATRAN who gained extraordinary success, a big loyal international following and considered by many as a phenomenon, now presents their third album – ‘No Sides’.

Nina Miranda – Freedom Of Movement

Freedom of Movement showcases a confection of influences: traditional rhythms of Bahia juxtaposed with urban bass-lines, the atmosphere of 1970s Santana & Osibisa is channelled along with the valorous grooves of Earth Wind & Fire and Sly & Robbie, the free spirit of les dames Grace Jones and Rita Lee, and the urban bite of The Specials and Ian Dury & The Blockheads.
