Moonchild ready forthcoming album, share new song

LA trio Moonchild just revealed their plans to release their third album, Voyager. The follow-up to their acclaimed 2015 Pease Rewind album is due out via Tru Thoughts on May 26th.  In advance of the album’s release, the band have shared a first single, “Cure.”  Speaking to The Fader vocalist Amber Navran had this to say about the song:

Cure is about finding love before you’re ready for it. Sometimes moving on means falling for someone new, someone who shows you that there are other people out there who can bring you love and happiness. Often that chance gets pushed aside because you’ve determined that you need to be alone for awhile or fully recovered before you can accept love from someone else. I’ve been on both sides of that situation — falling for someone who’s not ready/not feeling ready when a good thing comes along — so this is about letting go of that weight and letting love heal you.”

Time once again to fall in love with the trio’s laid-back neo soul sound. Peep the visual above and head over to our YouTube channel to check out more videos.
