Between The Cracks: 5 Albums You May Have Missed

Between The Cracks

With so much good music coming through thick and fast, it’s easy for new music to drop online and go unnoticed. To help prevent this, we’ve picked five releases that may have slipped past your radar. Stream music from Bambooman, PlayDead, Wayne Snow, Suzanne Kraft/Jonny Nash and Shobaleader One. If you like what you hear, support the artist.

Bambooman – Shudder

Following his first ep for Accidental Jnr in the summer Bambooman is now back with something entirely different. The downtempo experimental designs of the ‘Feel EP’ give way to his latest offering “Shudder”.

PlayDead –  Color With Friends

11 mesmerising tunes that will ignite nostalgic and adventurous ideas in any listener, either young or old. Just like the duo PlayDead.

Wayne Snow – Freedom TV

After two incredible EPs, Wayne Snow — the Nigerian-born, Berlin-based vocalist and songwriter — now presents his debut album on Tartelet Records. Freedom TV is the natural sequel to the Max Graef-produced tasters Red Runner (2014) and Rosie (2015); a project marinated in Afro-Caribbean, soulful grooves and topped by Wayne’s effortless falsetto acrobatics.

Suzanne Kraft/ Jonny Nash – Japanese Promotional Tool

A collection of experiments, collages and improvisations from Suzanne Kraft and Jonny Nash.

Shobaleader One – Elektrac

Strobe Nazard, Squarepusher, Company Laser and Arg Nution are Shobaleader One. The band recently dropped “Elektrac” an eleven track album featuring their covers of vintage Squarepusher material.
