Something fresh for the weekend from Ash Walker. Following on from his second album “Echo Chamber” the London producer has shared “Step Wrong” a cut from the album featuring Sage along with a specially commissioned remix from South Africa’s Escapism Refuge. With it’s simple yet effective instrumentation: sparse drums and worbly beat and dubbed-out reverbs and effects. Even though the laidback groove is smooth, it’s the soft spoken word of Sage that stand out on this one. For his remix Escapism Refuge uses a pitched down 2-step beat, deep bass and shimmering keys to the the original track a super chilled out vibe. Listen below.
