The two songs aired to date from Devonanon’s forthcoming “City of All Times” album mark the record as one to keep an ear out for. For those looking for experimental sound collages of field recordings, out-there folk, lo-fi pop and everything in-between this one is for you. According to the press release the album documents, among other things, “climbing Gardnos Crater, catching the Viking Line from Stockholm to Turku, commuting in Neukölln, cycling across Hardangervidda plateau, meandering in Gracia and pallbearing in Beaulieu.” The album will land via Kit Records/Lost Map on December 16th so, for now, make do with the enticing “Oslo”.
