TriForce – 5ive

Jaubi – The Deconstructed Ego

“Jaubi is a collective of musicians hailing from Lahore, Pakistan who expertly blend Indian Classical music with Jazz, and Hip-Hop. Jaubi (جو بھی) is an urdu word roughly translating to “whatever”. They create whatever sounds good and whatever feels good. The album skips around genres brilliantly while always retaining a complete Indian classical style sensibility. Press play and enjoy.

Suzanne Kraft – What You Get For Being Young
Recorded in Amsterdam over the course of May 2016, “What You Get For Being Young” offers a full immersion into Kraft’s ever-evolving world. Lush, digital manipulated synths spread across cold surfaces, metallic drums dance around skeletal song structures. Whilst echoes of “Talk From Home” remain, they are but faint echoes, as Kraft’s recent exploration into sound-design and digital manipulation confidently posits “What You Get For Being Young” as an entirely new chapter in the artist’s growing narrative.  It’s still unmistakably Kraft the same but slightly different and very, very good.

Bohjass – Invisible Desert

New music from the Tim Pledger lead band Bohjass. “Invisible Desert” roams a barren hinterland of free jazz minimalism that swims in the midst of a rock and roll heart whilst indulging in the heady scent of a wet and pulsing earth. Really great thrilling jazz album full of depth and emotion.
