Tel Aviv band Buttering Trio are gearing up up release their new album titled “Threesome”. Set for release on November 18th via Raw Tapes the 11-track record creates a natural and refreshing flow between atmospheric sounds, jazz explorations, and broken rhythms. Their band had this to say about the third album:
“We approached the making of the album with clarity and intention, working on a regular basis with a very specific vision, a vision of an album that ultimately combines the beauty of studio-beat-making and organic songwriting. Unlike our previous albums, that were more on the range of spontaneous intuitive combustions, this album is a matured love child of an ever-awaking threesome of parents. ‘Threesome’ is an album that moves the soul, bounces the body and looks in the eyes.”
Today we’re featuring one of the albums standout tracks “Refugee Song”. “The video was made by Agata and Dorel, refugees of a special kind,” say the trio. “They documented themselves in their search for a home together, perfectly capturing the intimacy and innocence of it all.”
