Last week, the good folks at Stamp The Wax shared the intimate and intriguing “Ala” by South East London producer and musician Ben Hayes.We’ve had the track on loop ever since and felt it was about time we shared it with you, good people. Treading an eclectic path the track journeys from jazz-inflected Rhodes keys to Herbie-esque fusion style synths. As the song continues on glorious live instrumentation and rich layers and textures are added enticing the listener to the very last note. “Ala” is one of the tracks on Hayes’ new We Must Cultivate EP, available October 27th.
