Detroit music maker Jay Daniel is readying his highly anticipated “Broken Knowz” album, scheduled for release on November 25th through Technicolour. He adds to the excitement with “Paradise Valley.” Known fo his rough, percussive house releases on Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature Records and Kyle Hall’s Wild Oats Music his debut full-length “signals a departure from Jay’s previous output,” says the label.
“Disillusioned with the constraints of drum programming and the associated deficiencies translating human feeling or emotion; he retreated to his mother’s basement, picked up his drumsticks and started recording into a multitrack mixer for the first time.”
