The Leftovers

Tuck into our tasty Leftovers

Things are moving super fast! A little too fast! We can’t keep up with all the good stuff that drops every day on the interwebs. While we try to post every new track, album, mixtape, video, and MP3 download that we love on the site, it’s impossible to post everything, which means some quality newness gets missed. So, we serve up The Leftovers.

RecordReplay is a new series inviting some of the world’s best DJs to create an hour-long mix using a £10 second-hand record shop budget. We kick off with an eclectic selection from the esteemed DJ and journalist, Bill Brewster, sourced at London’s Love Vinyl. There are few clubs or festivals worth their salt that he hasn’t played at over the years, and with his erstwhile role as a historian of dance music culture, he makes for an incredibly keen-eyed record digger. It’s an honour to have him launch our series.

Atlantic Jaxx presents Bigby, hailing from Huddersfield and his debut EP ‘The Scene’. The video features dancers from HouseWarmers & PatternHouse dance crews and was filmed in Peckham, South London.

Swindle has shared a video for “Lemon Trees,” a track featuring Double D off his new “Funk & Grime” EP. The new EP follows “Connecta” and is the second instalment in Swindle’s ‘Trilogy In Funk’ series.

When Stoned idea #4532 was put into play this is what happened : We round-up some fellow herb-merchants to have a go at rolling Von Party & Naduve’s ‘Cobra Kush’ up and hosting their own studio smoke-out.

Baltimore-bred, New York-based artist Josiah Wise aka serpentwithfeet and The Haxan Cloak team up for Wise’s debut EP.  We’re not going to say much more, just simply press play and enjoy!
