Scottish label Lionoil Industries drop a new 4-track EP courtesy of Peckham based pair FYI Chris. After their Rhythm Section release early last year’s the two producers conjure up four quality deep and hypnotic tunes on the Lionoil EP. Many will be drawn to “Secret Bullshit” a superbly loose and slightly off-kilter drum workout with wonky synths. Elsewhere, “For Now” blends vocal chops and some deep drums giving this track its energy and edge! The deliciously spacey “Taking The F Train” is simply night late music at its best. If it’s bumpin’ house you’re after, “Xenomorph” should do the trick. An EP that’s worth your attention and time.
