Newly formed five-piece Vanishing Twin came together to make an exploratory record that marries oblique English pop with a palette of arkestral sounds. The band led by Cathy Lucas has been on our radar ever since they dropped their amazing debut “ The Conservation Of Energy” a few months back.
Starting with Lucas’ delicate vocals, new single “Vanishing Twin Syndrome” starts mellow and grows bigger and bigger crammed with layer upon layer of scorching rhythms. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, they drop the spacey second half of the single.
