First official release of this contemporary Saharan masterpiece! Kader Tarhanine’s title track is a blissful love song with electric guitar and drum machine combo. The breakout hit placed Algeria’s Group Afous d’Afous as undisputed stars of Tuareg guitar at home, yet they remain unknown outside of the Sahara. The autotuned Maghreb influenced Tarhanam Toussassi on the flip. Once again we doff our cap to Sahel Sounds Christopher Kirkley for unearthing this gem.
