22a founder Tenderlonious has been on our radar ever since hearing the “future rare groove” of Jeen Bassa on the label’s fifth release early last year. His South London-based label has put out a slew of well-received tracks by Al Dobson Jr, Henry Wu, Dennis Ayler, Do£ Boy, Shepherd, and the Deenmamode brothers Mo Kolours, Reginald Omas Mamode and Jeen Bassa. The talented multi-instrumentalist has also released a string of 12″ under h name and an excellent album with 4-peice jazz band Ruby Rushton. Listen to his 60-minute mix for Gottwood that takes us through a good selection of the more dance floor oriented side of the new South London sound he pushes and includes numerous unreleased cuts from his peers.
