With so much good music coming through thick and fast, it’s easy for new music to drop online and go unnoticed. To help prevent this, we’ve picked five records you don’t want to sleep on. Stream music from 18+, Ayetoro, Cavalier, Swarvy and Stratus. If you like what you hear, support the artist.
18+ – Collect
18+ return with their thirteen-track second second album, “Collect,” which explores the duo’s aggressive evolution as musicians. Frequently radical and genre-defying, together Justin and Samia have produced their most ambitious and powerful work to date.

Ayetoro – Irunmole
Nigerian troupe, Ayetoro release their fourth album via their own Funsho label. A superb fusion of Western styles with the arcane beauty of the rich musical heritage of Nigeria. Stunning!
8/10
Cavalier – Lemonade EP
Cavalier and Iman Omari release their anticipated collaborative project “LemOnade” on the Vibe Music Collective imprint. Featuring contributions from P.U.D.G.E., Norvis Jr., and frequent collaborator Quelle Chris, the project was conceived and recorded primarily during the duo’s stint in New Orleans. “LemOnade” is a sincere, rough edged, intimate dose which plays more like a score than your average “mixtape”. The project has got bars, great beats and we love it!
7/10
Swarvy – Elderberry
Swarvy’s Elderberry comes crunchy and warm from the jazzy and soulsonic EP of some really raw hip hop beat-making. Hailing now from L.A., originally from Philadelphia, Leaving welcomes multi-instrumentalist & producer Swarvy to the circle of synergy. A must listen.

Stratus – Tamalpais
“This album expresses the feelings of excitement and exploration I felt as my travels last summer in Europe were coming to an end and I was starting a new journey in southern California at a philosophy Phd program. I had been to southern California several times before, visiting friends, but living here has been nothing short of exhilarating.” Stratus
