Los Angeles-based artist Salami Rose Joe Louis music popped on my radar yesterday, and it’s been on loop almost continuously since. Taking a cross-genre approach, Louis blends different styles and comes up with something that sounds unique. Her 26-track album titled son of a sauce! is due for release on March 23rd and the six tracks that are currently streaming make for an intriguing listen. She keeps things simple as soft keyboards, pianos and drum machines come together with gentle vocals to create a mellow and sleepy aesthetic.
