Not much is known about Ali Kuru the mysterious artist from Istanbul other than the music he produces draws heavily on the heritage of his home city and its melting pot of east meeting west.
“Luna” is a deep, multi-layered late night dance floor instrumental with exotic eastern flavours while “Araf” features haunting female vocals and guitar workout over a heavy baseline and crunching beats with a clear electronica soundscape. Fantastic for the late night floor.
