Germany’s tiniest but funkiest label Tramp Records has unveiled two killer tracks by veteran, singer/actress Kay Dennis. Her career spans over 40 years and began when she started singing in nightclubs in Kansas City, known as a jazz center since the 1920s. She soon starred in three television specials and she released her first record album “Kay Dennis” which sold out in the Midwest within 8 months. On one side is a fantastic rendition of the all-time classic Sunny while on the other we find a great drum/clapping break on a cover of the Bacharach/David song Walk On By. Don’t sleep.
