Leiik has shared a new video for recent single Words Over Yours. Directed by Barbora Mrazkova, the minimalist portrait video features vocalist Amy Spencer. Like much of Mrazkova’s work the clip focuses on ideas of identity and representation, where process and transformation play a significant role.

“When we started working on the visual element of Leiik, we thought it would be interesting to use ideas that come from portrait aesthetics, and try them in this different environment of moving image. There is something very exposed and engaging in the simplicity of the footage, a grey area between fantasy and documentary, which we felt correlates very strongly with Leiik’s music.” Barbora Mrazkova

The video follows the news of the duo’s debut EP due out on February 5th via squareglass.
