Seasonally inspired music with a strong message from South London producer/musician Jeen Bassa. The track is part of the ongoing charity Advent Calendar compilation in aid of Help Musicians by music blog Stamp The Wax.
The sample heavy track features Christmas related dialogue, heavenly strings, a hip-hop beat and some gentle piano movements. Lounge and chill while class war and Christmas collide as Bassa takes us on a journey through pain to acceptance when dealing with loss.
Bassa shared the new music with a short note:
“There’s a five-letter word that you’re not allowed to say at Christmas and it’s not ‘cheer’, it’s ‘class’. Elites have manipulated this traditional folk holiday of communal cooperation and celebration as a part of a bitter and unrelentingly waged class war.”
