Kamasi Washington - Color Guard

Saxophonist, composer and bandleader Kamasi Washington has scored a new film called “Color Guard”. It’s the latest in Ray Ban’s Never Hide Film series. You can read the press release below:

“Color Guard is a comedy that tells the story of a young girl (Clover Nee) who requests that her babysitting Uncle Jamie (Jamie Granato) tell her a bedtime story. Jamie’s improvised tale centers around a group of color-blind and joyless adults, including Clover’s father Roland (Scovel), who attend “Guru Tiki Royal’s Color Camp For Adults” in efforts to be cured of their ailments and add color to their world.”

The new song titled Theme From Color Guard is a light and mellow jazz number, listen up top. You can watch the 13-minute film in its entirety below.
