After the hiatus of what has felt like a lifetime, Jamie Woon returns with Sharpness the first single taken from his soon-to-be-announced album due for release later in the year.

In a recent interview Woon spoke about drawing inspiration from D’Angelo’s Voodoo, the process of recording as a live band and the almost lost art of artists using real instruments in their rhythm section in the composition of their records.

Channeling his inner D’ Angelo with a dash of Stevie Wonder and doing what he does best – crafting a unique brand of soulful R&B wrapped around his silky falsetto.
