If you’ve been waiting for new music from New Zealand duo Electric Wire Hustle for a while, like us, you may be surprised by their latest release. This is nothing like their previous singles “By & Bye” and “If There Are The Last Days.” Their latest track “Brother Sun” veers even further from the left-of-centre and features fellow Kiwi and Grammy Award-winning chanteuse Kimbra. This song is more lo-fi, electronic leaning featuring modulated synths and futurist production, but like everything EWH it’s ever so soulful. “Brother Sun” is the first single from their forthcoming Aeons EP, due out in late August on Bastard Jazz and Loop.
