Owiny Sigoma Band Drop Another Wayward Dancefloor Workout With Luo Land

Owiny Sigoma Band - Changaa Attack

Owiny Sigoma Band drop the second track from their forthcoming  “Nyanza” album. Kenyan band members Joseph Nyamungu and Charles Owoko, invited the London-based members of the band to the Nyanza province of Kenya in the heart of a region called Luoland, to discover the roots of Luo Music. Louis Hackett the groups bass player created this spellbinding track after a 12-hour changaa fueled session of hard Nyatiti soundclash. Utilising Owoko’s fierce Nyiduongue drumming and a one-take vocal workout from Nyamungu, “Luo Land” is another sprawling insight into the minds this collective.
