Oakland’s Waterstrider will release their debut LP Nowhere Now on April 6th. The five-piece have already given us a taste with “White Light” and “Calliope”. Now we get the title track “Nowhere Now,” a cool slice of indie-pop. Their breezy attitude is captured perfectly in this summery, easy-going afro-tinged song. The track is given an extra punch by a fine vocal performance from lead singer Nate Salman.
