Over the course of 2014, fast-emerging singer, songwriter and producer Holly ‘Låpsley’ Fletcher has been making waves and become one of the most hotly tipped new UK artists around. Through beautifully crafted songs such as “Station” and “Painter (Valentine)”, the 18-year old artist has created a unique sonic identity, mixing sparse, minimal electronic production with gorgeous, emotive songwriting. The 4 track EP features Låpsley’s signature elegant downtempo electronic-pop sound, but delivered with a maturity way beyond her years. It’s an interesting introduction into what this artist has to offer. She’s definitely one to watch for and this EP sets the bar. The EP is available both online and on 12″ vinyl.
