In my pursuit to find fresh new music, I ran across this album, Pisces from Sarah Negahdari. The guitarist/vocalist for Happy Hollows and temporary bassist for Silversun Pickups has now dropped a solo LP under the name of Pisces! Her self titled debut album is simply brilliant and even on just one listen, we had to make it our “Album Of The Week.” Pisces features lushly blended vocals combined with elements of folk and psychedelic rock, while still showcasing strong pop melodies and structures. At 32.17 in its entirety, Pisces may be a little on the short side, but it crams plenty of magic into it to make us crave much more.We’ve only posted a few of our favourites below, you can check out the whole thing in our music player at the bottom of the page.
