Listen to Aisha Badru first single, Waiting Around, and it’s her unique voice that will strike you first. It’s a voice that knocks you back and then sits you to attention. That it’s wrapped in just over two and a half perfectly formed minutes of acoustic guitar and a beautiful string arrangement that cements itself to the inside of your head only enhances the effect. Excellent debut song from the 22-year-old singer/songwriter that leaves us wanting more.
