“I’m writing you to introduce a new London-based project, which I believe will fit well the content featured on ‘Twistedsoul.” That’s how the debut song from new London-based duo, Leiik was pitched to me today, and I’m happy to say it’s a very accurate statement. “Holes” will grip you with its raw emotion and the gloriously ethereal vocals which lay on top of an understated yet detailed, soundbed of electronic music. It’s a wonderfully haunting song that takes the minimal approach. Keep your eye on this duo, because this songs looks like the beginning of something much more. Listen to “Holes” and check out their live dates below.

Leiik’s next single will be released by NX records, a joint venture of Matthew Herbert and Goldsmiths in November, followed by an EP early next year. The EP will be released through squareglass – a newly founded collective of Southeast London artists.
