Baker (named after Chet Baker), transformed from a lone songwriting project, to a deeply rooted symbiosis of sound and verse. The duo comprised of Mishal Moore and Richard Cortez wrote and produced 22 original compositions within their first series of recording sessions. This empirical collection of songs will be issued through multiple EP releases; the first, a 5 track EP titled, Prologue: The Farmers Daughter, channeling southern rock, soul and folk. Together they make beautiful music which has been described as “Striking male/female vocals with strong melodies and sincere, minimalist production in an homage to classic Americana.” Really feeling this EP and can’t wait to hear more from these two.
