We’ve already heard the first sample from Ahmed Gallab, aka Sinkane, forthcoming sophomore album Mean Love. Bringing an equal mix of his East African roots and electronic sounds to “How To Be” the opening track from Mean Love, the song sounds like a lost gem of soul funk complete with psychedelic guitar. Gallab’s sweet falsetto is the star here as it sails across the diverse soundbed giving the track an airy and bright feel. “Mean Love”, will be released on September 2nd via DFA Records in North America and City Slang worldwide.
