Who is Your Old Droog?

That’s been the question all over social media ever since the release of his eponymous free EP last month. If you’ve not heard the story focus on Nas and a mysterious Brooklyn rapper called Your Old Droog. Droog is currently faceless, but not voiceless as his debut EP is drawing comparisons to Nas. With many suggesting Droog is Nas’ alter ego. Whether he is or isn’t Nas, which according to Complex he isn’t, none of it really matters as we’re only here for the music and it’s bloody good. His latest release “Free Turkey” flips like an old Nas jam and it even samples The Heath Brothers‘ “Smilin’ Billy Suite Pt.
