Introducing new south-east London based duo, Lightboxes who combine minimal groove, deep and soulful melodies with audio manipulation to create their distinctive sound. The band formed in 2013 and features John Atterbury and Donna Thompson who met while studying at Goldsmiths college. The pair dropped their debut EP, “Let It Grow” last month and it’s an impressive collection of 5 songs taking in R&B, soul and pop with an experimental egde.

As the press release says, “It’s the kind of soulful R&B that soothes without any inhibitions or hesitation to dabble in other genres.”
