Introducing Yesway, the Bay Area duo of Kacey Johansing and Emily Ritz. The pair are best friends and have been a fixture on the Bay’s indie-folk scene for some time-Johansing released her second solo LP, Grand Ghosts last year while Ritz is part of the Oakland-based experimental “noir pop” outfit DRMS, which put out a short film and soundtrack entitled American 707 earlier this year. Their self-titled debut album will be released on June 3rd through Heavy Records and the first  track “Howlin’ Face” was unveiled last month. Together they create a mesmerising clash of skewed folk and electronic sounds, filled with otherworldly twisted delicacy that slowly unfolds along the way with astonishing results. Be prepared for more great tunes from this promising duo!
