The-Drum recently launched their newly founded label Lo Motion with a new single from R&B boyhood trio JODY . Now they’re back on production duties for fellow Chicago native, Dre Green who is gearing up to release her debut mixtape on the duo’s label. Thick with emotion and heavy with soul, “Guarded” a floated slo-mo R&B jam that teases with Green’s sensual whispering vocals. The-Drum take the production into their dark, murky world, creating a shivering late night atmosphere! Add to this Green’s despairingly romantic words that towards the end descends into darker territory:

Give me that body baby
Touch me like you love me
I cant find the words to say
I can find a way to show you anyway

This one is perfect from start to finish!

“Guarded” will appear on the upcoming Lo Motion Singles Compilation Volume 1. Green will also drop her debut mixtape later this year.
