Having first come across Courtney Barnett on a late night rummage around Bandcamp late last year, we’ve been hooked on her captivating slacker style ever since.

A few days ago the Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist premiered a cover of The Lemonheads “Being Around”. Its an altogether more solemn affair then the delightful but slightly silly original and we love it.

The rising star recently signed a deal with Mom + Pop, who will be re-releasing The Double EP :A Sea Of Split Peas on April 15. Listen below.
