Yeah we’re a tad late posting this one, but like all things in this blog-world sometimes things just get missed. Last month New Orleans born, Mississippi-based Pell gave us his first single off his upcoming “Floating While Dreaming” LP which is due for a spring release.

Following up on last year’s acclaimed debut EP “Feel Good Summer”, Pell’s sound has evolved and in a recent interview with Okayplayer the rapper expressed his thoughts on his developing sound:

“I’m bringing a certain futuristic soul – FADER coined it “dream rap” – to the table. I’m not usually one for labels, but I do feel that they nailed it as far as describing how my image comes across sonically”. 

The creativity with which both the rapper and Danish producers Tomas Barfod and Jeppe Kjellberg attack this track mark this one out as something a bit special,addictively odd space age rap if you will.
