Back in May last year Atlanta newcomer Raury dropped his finely crafted single ‘Bloom‘,and then quietly disappeared.This week the seventeen year old singer/songwriter revealed his latest offering ‘God’s Whipser’,on Billboard a track that Raury explained in the magazine is an attack on the school as a “system of indoctrination and brainwashing”.He went onto further explain that:“When they see a person like me, who doesn’t give a fuck, following through the school system, they look down upon me. They think I’m nothing. But they have something coming because I hear God’s whisper. That means, my intuition, my natural calling in life is what God’s whisper is. When I say, ‘I am the savior,’  I’m spreading that message to others. You have that whisper to you. You have your intuition. You have your own natural calling that you have to trust and follow.”Singer Raury’s ‘God Whisper’ like its predecessor is so refreshing,bursting at the seams with youth and life,its simple guitar riff, chants,pounding drums and the singers emotive vocals mark this song out as a truly outstanding debut.Listen to the song below and check out “Bloom,” as well.Keep a eye on this kid he is something special and will only getting better.
