Really liking the recent output from Dean Blunt. Having split with his longtime Hype Williams partner Inga Copeland, who’s releases went from the sublime to the ridiculous, finally hitting a cul de sac with the 2012 “The Narcissist ll ” album. His new partnership with London poet Joanne Robertson seems to have a much clearer focus and the elusive media trickster appears to have a new lease of life. Having released the excellent “The Redeemer” and “Stone Island” LP’s last year Blunt is definitely on a roll. Do believe the hype. Listen up below!
