This month’s instalment of Twistedsoul presents… offers up a fantastic selection from Asta Hiroki.
Producer, musician, DJ and label founder, Asta Hiroki’s creative endeavours have led to some incredible projects over the last few years. Following his full-length ‘Entropy’ debut in 2021 on Jalapeno Records, Hiroki explored the independent route, starting his own @foldedmusiclabel and subsequent alt-jazz imprint in Most Least shortly afterwards. Folded Music, as a label, served as a perfect playground for Hiroki’s hip-hop-inspired, lo-fi and dreamy productions – most recently displayed in typically elegant fashion on latest single ‘Close’ – and also as a phenomenal hub for like-minded creative talent, including the championing of projects by Catch92, FTHMLSS, FLOCKS, Biomania and Tristan de Liège.
